Blob Factory (DEMO)
PLEASE NOTE: If you choose to download, windows may give a "unsafe" warning, so you can play in browser if you would rather.
In the not too distant future a group of scientists gather in Antarctica to perform experiments on what they believed were mindless blobs, sending them through cruel experiments to see how they adapt.
The Blobs, after seeing so many of their kind eliminated decide to escape, but no journey worth taking is ever going to be easy.
Guide your blob through 10 perilous platformer levels as they try to escape. After completing level 10, you can go back and try to unlock the hardcore levels, which you can open by finding the hidden coin AND completing the level within the time limit. (This game is meant to be difficult to 100%, so please don't break any keyboards ;) )
We hope you enjoy the Demo of Blob Factory.

Little bug: Exiting a level from the level complete screen doesn't save your progress. Neat concept, ofc would benefit hugely from visual polish but the game design is very solid. The ball is kinda tricky to learn to control, but I'm a fan of games like Getting Over It. This kind of character controller could work very well in a Foddian but I like the one-obstacle-at-a-time approach especaily with the checkpoint-stars system!
Hi, thank you so much. We are having trouble reproducing this over here. Was this the browser version or a downloaded version?
Browser and I could be wrong, but it happened to me after beating Level 8
We'll test it out tomorrow on browser. We tried a ton of different things with the downloaded version, but couldn't get it to happen... might be a browser thing. We'll check it and report back.
It seems for be functioning properly, no idea what happened. It is possible you pressed "New" and "Yes" on accident. It could maybe be some sort of thing with missing cookies or browser data, but, I'll be honest, not 100% sure how that works. Either way, sorry for your loss.
My dad put together a contest that goes with the release of this demo. Check it out here:
